About the Event

Why are we hosting the online continental breakfast event, “Breast Health: By Any Means Necessary?”

Because we will forever have questions about our breasts, and because our guests in the IAWH Saturday Women’s Wellness Lounge have answers based on over 45 years combined years of experience.

We’ve invited Geoffrey Ray, MD, Radiation Oncologist, and Debra Rundles, RN, Oncology Navigator to speak candidly, answer questions about every phase of breast development, prevention, pain, and problems, diagnosis, treatment, recovery & survivorship.

Our casual discussion platform allows you to listen, ask questions, and express yourself in a peaceful environment. IAWH is for women and we know what it's like to experience breast pain and wonder…what if. We’ve had family and friends diagnosed with breast cancer and thought, “Am I next”? We know that it can be challenging to take the time and effort to meet with our doctor (but we must), get the referral, schedule the Well-Woman visit (but we must), or the mammogram (but we must), and then follow up when guided. But. We. Must.

Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate, and even in the midst of all we’re going through, our breasts still require our attention. Join us to get answers. Tell yourself, “But I must, by any means necessary."
